Richter also made history as the first golfer in program history to earn All-Patriot League status all four years of her career. In men's lacrosse, Bucknell prepares for its regular season finale against UMBC on April 24 after concluding Patriot League play with a 15-13 victory over Holy Cross. The Bison finished the league season with a 4-4 record, securing fifth place in the standings and a chance to qualify for the Patriot League Tournament. Additionally, standout player Matt Kovacs has been named to the USILA Team of the Week, recognizing his contributions throughout the season.
The women's lacrosse team heads into its final regular season game against Loyola (Md.) on April 23, needing a win to secure a home playoff game. Currently sitting at 9-5 overall and 5-3 in the Patriot League, Bucknell faces a challenging opponent in Loyola, who leads the all-time series 21-0. Meanwhile, the Bucknell track and field teams are set to compete at the prestigious Penn Relays from April 23 to April 25 in Philadelphia. With the outdoor conference championships moved back this year, the Bison are sending a larger contingent than usual to this historic event, which has been a staple in American athletics for over a century.
