Aubrey Lee of Hamilton College earned individual medalist honors at the Northeast Women's Golf Invitational, held on April 18 and 19 at The Ranch Golf Club in Southwick, Massachusetts. Lee finished atop the 44-player field with a score of 1-over par 145, including a final round of 1-under 71. This marks the third time in her collegiate career that she has claimed medalist honors, and her score of 145 is a personal best for 36 holes. Despite Lee's standout performance, the team placed sixth out of seven, with a total score of 625, competing against several nationally ranked opponents.
In women's lacrosse, Hamilton concluded its season on a high note with a decisive 21-9 victory over Ithaca College on April 21. Grace MacLean led the Continentals with a season-high five goals, while Julia Lee's timely goal late in the second quarter helped Hamilton pull ahead for good. The Continentals finished their season with a 5-10 overall record, securing their first home win of the spring against a tough Ithaca squad.
Hamilton's baseball team also enjoyed success, sweeping a doubleheader against the University of Rochester on April 21. The Continentals won the first game 9-2, highlighted by a six-run third inning that included key contributions from Chester Boynton and Noa Oyadomari. With this victory, Hamilton improved its overall record to 14-14, solidifying a 5-6 mark at home. The team will look to carry this momentum into their upcoming games as they approach the end of the regular season.
