Lehigh men's lacrosse secured a spot in the Patriot League Tournament with a 14-12 victory over Lafayette on April 24. The Mountain Hawks' win, highlighted by Finn Morgan's six-point performance (four goals, two assists), improved their record to 7-7 overall and 4-4 in league play. With this victory, Lehigh clinched the No. 6 seed and will face No. 3 seed Boston University in the quarterfinals. Kasey Heath's 19 saves were pivotal in the win, as Lehigh led the all-time series against Lafayette to 76-22-1.
In baseball, the Mountain Hawks concluded their series against Holy Cross with a commanding 14-2 victory on April 26, aided by an eight-run fourth inning. Jake Mulvehill pitched a complete game, striking out ten batters. However, the team faced challenges earlier in the series, losing both games of a doubleheader on April 25, which eliminated them from postseason contention. They now hold a 14-28 overall record.
Lehigh softball enjoyed success at the Scarlet Knight Classic on April 26, winning both games against Georgetown and improving their season record to 24-26. Lizzie Kern homered in both games, while Kelly Fricker's two-run shot in the sixth inning against Georgetown helped secure an 8-6 victory. Earlier in the week, the team faced Rutgers, where despite strong performances from Peyton Sward and Holly Lovett, they fell short in an 8-6 loss on April 24.
The men's golf team finished sixth at the Patriot League Championship, which concluded on April 26. First-year Ryan Cronin led the Mountain Hawks, tying for third place overall and earning a spot on the All-Tournament team with a score of 215. Cronin's performance included a strong final round, where he shot a 75. The team shot a total of 888 over the three rounds, with senior Will Caronchi finishing tied for 14th.
In track and field, the women's team had a standout weekend, setting a school record in the distance medley relay at the Penn Relays. The quartet of Lauryn Heskin, Lauren Bower, Amber Barrios, and Abby Klebe finished in 11:09.39, breaking the previous record by nearly 16 seconds. Additionally, they showcased their talent at the Covert Classic, further solidifying their competitive edge as they head into the championship season.
