Harvard women's golf enters a pivotal moment as sophomore Vanessa Zhang competes in the NCAA Regional Round at Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee, Florida, from May 11 to 13. Zhang's selection marks a historic first for the program, as she is the first individual from Harvard to earn an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. After a successful season, she aims to qualify for the NCAA Women's Golf Championships and will tee off at 9:50 AM on May 11.
In men's lacrosse, Logan Ip and John Aurandt IV received All-America honors from both Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse, underscoring their significant contributions to the team's success this season. Ip, a two-time All-American, earned a spot on the Inside Lacrosse second team after scoring 35 points with 18 goals and 17 assists. Aurandt, making his All-America debut, was recognized on the Honorable Mention list. The duo combined for 73 points this season, helping Harvard maintain a tradition of individual recognition in lacrosse.
The Harvard women's lacrosse team also saw standout performances, as Charlotte Hodgson was named an Honorable Mention All-American by USA Lacrosse. Hodgson, who was also named Ivy League Midfielder of the Year, led the league in goals and was instrumental in the team's offensive strategy, finishing with over 60 points for the season. In softball, the Crimson concluded their season at the Ivy League Tournament, where they faced a tough outing against Columbia, losing 7-0 in the first round and subsequently falling to Brown, 8-2. Senior infielder Finley Payne highlighted the tournament with a two-run home run in her final game, wrapping up her Harvard career with impressive statistics, including 154 hits and 19 home runs.
In men's hockey, Ted Donato announced his decision to step down as head coach after a distinguished 27-year tenure. As a former captain and NCAA champion, Donato leaves a legacy marked by over 300 career wins and a commitment to developing student-athletes.
