Orly Sedransk of the University of Pennsylvania women's lacrosse team has been named an Honorable Mention All-American by USA Lacrosse, marking a significant individual achievement following a strong sophomore season. Sedransk, who also secured the Ivy League Goalkeeper of the Year title for the second consecutive year, recorded a 5-2 Ivy League record, saving 147 of 453 shots faced with a goals-against average of 10.93. Her performance included eight games with double-digit saves, highlighted by a career-high 17 saves in a 14-10 victory against Dartmouth.
On the men's side, Anthony McMullan has also received recognition as an Honorable Mention All-American. The midfielder's strong junior season earned him Second Team All-Ivy honors. McMullan is noted for his defensive prowess, leading the Quakers with 45 ground balls and contributing offensively with four goals and one assist. His versatility on the field, including his role on the face-off unit, underscores his importance to the team.
In women's basketball news, head coach Mike McLaughlin announced the signing of four recruits for the Class of 2030. Jayah Curtis, Ava Jones, Madison Kocis, and Rachel Thatcher will join the Quakers next fall, bringing a competitive edge to the program.
