Colgate University's softball team concluded its record-breaking season with a strong playoff performance, reaching the Patriot League Championship game for the first time since 2011. After dropping their postseason opener to Army, 6-3, the Raiders rebounded with back-to-back elimination victories against Lafayette (10-5) and Army (4-2). Nora Megenity led the charge, going 6-for-9 with five RBIs over the two games. The Raiders faced top-seeded Boston University in the championship, where they fell 12-1, finishing the season with a 29-26 record, the program's best since 2004. Coach Lamison-Myers praised the team's effort and the contributions of seniors Alexa Acker and Maya Servedio, indicating that this season is just the beginning for the Raiders.
In men's lacrosse, senior captain Hunter Drouin capped his Colgate career with recognition as a Nike Lacrosse Media All-America Team honorable mention. This marks his third consecutive year receiving this honor, alongside a selection to the Patriot League Second Team. Drouin concluded the season with 26 goals and 20 assists, leading the team in assists and ranking second in total points. His achievements this season also included being named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List and earning multiple weekly accolades. Drouin's contributions on and off the field have solidified his legacy within the program.
The men's rowing team also had a successful outing at the Dad Vail Regatta, where the Varsity Quad secured a first-place finish in the Grand Final. Competing against a strong field, the Raiders showcased their depth with the Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Four also reaching the Grand Final. The performances at this prestigious regatta highlight the team's competitive spirit and preparation as they continue to build momentum heading into future competitions.
