The Trinity College women's lacrosse team has garnered significant recognition this week, with four players earning NESCAC All-Conference honors. Seniors Samantha Hark and Grace Denious received First Team accolades, while junior Kelsey Restivo and sophomore Emily Ambrozy were named to the Second Team. Hark's standout season included career highs in ground balls and caused turnovers, solidifying her status as a defensive leader with her third consecutive All-Conference selection. Denious also celebrated her first All-Conference honor, contributing to the team's strong performance this season. The Bantams are set to host the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship First and Second Rounds, beginning with a matchup against the winner of Franklin and Marshall versus Neumann on May 10.
In baseball, sophomore Timothy Domizio has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week after a standout performance that helped lead Trinity to a 3-1 record. Domizio's week included a pivotal three-run homer in a comeback victory over Endicott, where he finished 4-for-5 with five RBIs. He continued his strong play in the NESCAC Quarterfinals against Wesleyan, where he contributed significantly to the Bantams' success, including a two-home run game in a 12-2 victory. This marks Domizio's first Player of the Week honor and the third for a Bantam this season, as the team prepares for the NESCAC Championship Weekend.
The Trinity College track and field teams competed at the NCAA Division III New England Championships at Springfield College over the weekend, aiming for national qualifying times. Both the men's and women's squads showcased their talents, though specific results from the meet were not detailed. Athletes will look to build on their performances as they head into the final stretch of the season, seeking to secure spots at the national level.
