Harvard women's hockey concluded its 2025-26 season after a 5-1 loss to Princeton in game three of the ECAC Tournament Quarterfinals on March 1. The Crimson, who entered the postseason as the eighth seed, fought hard throughout the series, splitting the first two games. In game two, played on February 28, Harvard rallied with a strong second period, scoring three goals to secure a 3-1 victory over the second-seeded Tigers. Morgan McGathey, Carla McSweeney, and Angelica Megdanis each found the net during this pivotal match, which forced the decisive game three. In the opening game of the series, held on February 27, Harvard struggled offensively, falling 1-0 despite Ainsley Tuffy's impressive 39 saves. The Crimson's season ends with a record of 16 wins and 15 losses, reflecting a competitive campaign that included notable performances and growth throughout the year. With the ECAC Championship semifinals approaching, the team will look to build on this experience for the next season.
