The Princeton women's squash team solidified its dominance in the Ivy League by winning the inaugural Ivy League Tournament, defeating Penn 9-0 in the final on February 22. This victory comes on the heels of their Ivy League regular-season title, where they completed an undefeated run, including a decisive win against Harvard. The triumph marks a historic moment for the program, establishing Princeton as a powerhouse in Ivy squash.
Meanwhile, the women's swimming and diving team continued its remarkable streak by capturing its fourth consecutive Ivy League Championship on February 22. The Tigers showcased their prowess throughout the competition, setting a pool and Ivy Meet record while securing an automatic NCAA qualifier. Their success was highlighted by strong performances on day two, where they won four out of five events and maintained a commanding lead in the team standings. The team concluded the championship with a solid performance that underscored their status as a dominant force in Ivy swimming.
In men's squash, the team faced a setback in the Ivy League Tournament semifinals, where they were defeated 8-1 by Harvard. Despite the loss, Hollis Robertson and Federico Sosa earned first-team All-Ivy honors, while Avi Agarwal and Aly Ibrahim were recognized on the second team. The women's squash team also celebrated individual accolades, with Alex Jaffe named Ivy League Rookie of the Year and the coaching staff honored as Coaching Staff of the Year. Both squash teams will now look to build on their respective seasons as they prepare for upcoming competitions.
