Junior Peter Whittington also contributed to the team's efforts, finishing second in the 400 individual medley with a time of 3:43.62. Despite the overall team results, the Quakers showcased individual talent, with several top finishes throughout the weekend.
In women's basketball, the Quakers experienced a mixed week, first falling to Harvard 60-46 on February 28, which eliminated them from Ivy League tournament contention. Tina Njike led the scoring for Penn with 16 points, while Simone Sawyer and Katie Collins added 11 and 12 points, respectively. The team struggled against Harvard, trailing by as much as 18 points and failing to lead at any point during the game. However, they rebounded with a decisive 89-66 victory over Dartmouth on March 1, where Sawyer scored 23 points and Njike contributed a career-high 19 points. The Quakers dominated the game, shooting 58 percent from the floor and securing a season sweep over Dartmouth. With the regular season now concluded, the team finishes with a record of 16-10 overall and 6-7 in Ivy League play.
