Molly Webber, a firstie on the Army West Point women's swimming and diving team, has been named the 2026 Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year. This accolade highlights her impressive performance both in the pool and in the classroom, as she led a group of six Black Knights recognized on the Patriot League All-Academic Teams. Webber's achievement underscores the commitment of Army's student-athletes to excel academically and athletically.
In men's hockey, the Black Knights faced Sacred Heart in a two-game series to close out their regular season. On February 28, Army lost a tightly contested matchup 4-3, which followed a 3-2 defeat the previous night. Despite a strong start in both games, Army could not maintain leads, ultimately sealing their fate as they prepare for the Atlantic Hockey America postseason, where they will compete as the ninth seed against No. 8 Bucknell on the road.
The Army West Point men's basketball team wrapped up its regular season with a loss to Lafayette on February 28, falling 83-77. The defeat marked the end of a challenging season, with Army finishing ninth in the Patriot League standings. Two standout performances came from sophomore guards Jaxson Bell and Jacen Holloway, who each scored over 20 points. The Black Knights will also enter the Patriot League Tournament as the ninth seed, facing Bucknell in their opening game on March 3.
