On March 1, the Colgate University women’s basketball team faced Navy in their final home game of the season, falling 73-63 on Senior Day at Cotterell Court. The Raiders honored their six seniors, who have made significant contributions to the program throughout their careers. Despite a spirited effort, Colgate was unable to secure a victory, marking the end of their season on their home court.
In a notable academic achievement, four members of the Colgate men’s swimming and diving team received Academic All-Patriot League honors. Matt Freund, Michael Granin, Audrey Collins, and MG King were recognized for their excellence both in competition and in the classroom. This accolade highlights the commitment of these athletes to their studies while balancing the demands of collegiate athletics. Their achievements reflect the program's emphasis on academic success alongside athletic performance.
