In Augusta, Georgia, the Yale women's golf team saw Mia Sessa shine at the Valspar Augusta Invitational, where she finished in second place. Competing in front of a hometown crowd, Sessa shot an even-par 72 in the first round, followed by a 70 in the second. She surged in the final round, firing a 68 to secure her runner-up finish. Despite Sessa's strong performance, the Bulldogs finished ninth in the 17-team field with a total score of 894 (+30). They will next compete at the Terps Invitational in College Park, Maryland, on April 5-6.
The Yale women's ice hockey team concluded its season in the NCAA Regional Finals, falling to top-ranked Ohio State 6-1. The Bulldogs had advanced to this stage with a 1-0 victory over Minnesota Duluth in the semifinals, where first-year goaltender Samson Frey recorded a 37-save shutout and Molly Boyle scored the decisive goal. Despite the loss, Yale's season was marked by notable achievements, including a 26-10 overall record and a strong showing in the ECAC Hockey Tournament, where they reached the championship game.
