The Babson College women's swimming and diving team made history at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships, finishing fourth overall, the best placement in the program's 30-year history at the meet. They set two program records and earned an All-Conference result in the 400 free relay. Meanwhile, the men's team also secured a fourth-place finish, marking their third consecutive year in that position. Junior David Krol earned his second All-Conference honor, and first-year Matthias McFarlane set two school records while achieving an NCAA B cut in the 100 breaststroke. Both teams showcased their depth, with numerous athletes contributing points across multiple events throughout the competition held at MIT's Zesiger Center Pool.
In men's ice hockey, the No. 11 Babson College team concluded the regular season with a split weekend. They secured a 3-1 victory over Plymouth State University, where senior Ian Driscoll contributed a goal and an assist, and junior Mason Rosado made 17 of his 31 saves in the final period. However, the Beavers fell short against New England College, losing 3-2 despite first-year Emil Elias scoring his first two goals of the season. Babson will now prepare for the Little East Conference playoffs.
The Babson women's basketball team finished their regular season on a high note, defeating Wheaton College 63-44. Sophomore Rylie Rosenberg led the way with 14 points and six rebounds, helping the Beavers build an 18-point lead in the first quarter. With the regular season concluded, Babson looks ahead to the NEWMAC tournament, aiming to capitalize on their momentum.
