The Brandeis University men's basketball team has recognized the achievements of senior Elias Rodl and sophomore Alex Zakheim with their selection to the All-University Athletic Association (UAA) team. Rodl, a first-team honoree, has had a historic season, averaging 23.3 points per game, which ranks him second in the UAA and 18th nationally in Division III scoring. His total of 582 points not only led the UAA but also ranks as the third-highest single-season total in Brandeis history. In conference play, Rodl's scoring average of 24.8 points per game tied the UAA's single-season record. Zakheim, recognized on the second team, has also contributed significantly to the team's success this season.
On the women's side, senior Abby Kennedy and classmate Katherine Vaughan have been honored for their performances in the All-UAA selections. Kennedy earned a second-team spot after posting a career-high average of 16.3 points per game, which placed her third in the UAA. She also set a new Brandeis single-season record with 54 three-pointers, surpassing the previous mark of 50. Vaughan received honorable mention recognition, rounding out a strong season for the Judges' women's basketball program. Both players have demonstrated their skill and dedication, contributing to a competitive season for Brandeis basketball.
