Molly Boyle of the Yale women's ice hockey team has been named a second-team All-American by the American Hockey Coaches Association, marking a significant milestone for the program. Boyle, a first-year standout, is the sixth All-American in Yale history and the first since 2023. Her rookie season was remarkable, as she finished with 13 goals and 23 assists, leading the ECAC Hockey in assists and setting a new program record for points by a defender with 36. In addition to her All-American accolade, Boyle was recognized as the Ivy League Rookie of the Year and earned first-team All-ECAC Hockey and All-Ivy honors. She is also the first Yale player to be named ECAC Defender of the Year since 2020.
In swimming and diving, Caroline Riggs concluded her junior season at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, where she finished 28th in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 16:19.33. Riggs's performance capped off an impressive season, as she became the first Yale swimmer to qualify for the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championship since Iszac Henig in 2022. Her strong showing in the pool underscores a promising future for the Yale swimming program as it continues to develop competitive talent on the national stage.
