Lehigh University men's basketball junior guard Nasir Whitlock has been named to the Second Team All-ECAC, a recognition of his exceptional performance throughout the season. Whitlock led the Mountain Hawks to a Patriot League championship, averaging 20.5 points per game on an efficient 46.6% shooting from the field and 43.3% from three-point range. His contributions included 3.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.0 steals per game, and he scored in double figures in 33 of 35 games, including 18 games with 20 or more points. Additionally, sophomore forward/center Hank Alvey was selected to the CSC Academic All-District Team, highlighting his balance of academic and athletic excellence. Alvey maintained a 3.65 GPA while averaging 15.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, with a standout performance of 23 points and a career-high 15 rebounds in Lehigh's NCAA Tournament loss to Prairie View A&M.
On the women's side, juniors Gracyn Lovette and Whitney Lind have also been recognized with Academic All-District honors by College Sports Communicators. Lind, who holds a 3.73 GPA in management, averaged 13.3 points per game and scored a career-high 26 points in the season opener against Cincinnati. Lovette, an accounting major with a 3.93 GPA, led the Patriot League in assists, averaging 4.2 per game, showcasing her dual commitment to academics and athletics. Both players have demonstrated significant contributions on the court while excelling in their studies, further solidifying Lehigh's reputation for academic and athletic achievement.
