The Trinity College men's lacrosse team had a week of contrasting results, starting with a significant victory over No. 18 Skidmore College on March 26. The Bantams handed the Thoroughbreds their first loss of the season, winning 8-4 at Jessee/Miller Field. Miles Harvey led the charge, scoring two goals and assisting on another, while goalkeeper Davis Ike made crucial saves to maintain the lead. With this win, Trinity improved its record to 5-3 overall.
However, the Bantams faced a challenging opponent in their next outing, falling to No. 5 Salisbury College on March 29 by a score of 11-5. Turnovers plagued Trinity throughout the match, contributing to their lowest goal total of the season. Despite the setback, Trent Lucovich's five-goal performance for Salisbury highlighted the difficulty of the contest. The loss dropped Trinity to 5-4 overall and 1-3 in NESCAC play. Looking ahead, the Bantams will seek to rebound on April 1 when they travel to Connecticut College for a crucial NESCAC matchup, where they will aim to avenge last year's home loss to the Camels.
In addition to the on-field action, Trinity's student-athletes received recognition for their academic achievements. The 2026 NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team was announced, featuring over 1,500 student-athletes, including several from Trinity. To qualify, individuals must maintain a GPA of at least 3.50 and reach sophomore standing. This acknowledgment underscores the balance Trinity athletes maintain between academics and athletics, reflecting the institution's commitment to excellence in both areas.
