Three members of the Lehigh football team have been named to the National Football Foundation's Hampshire Honor Society, recognizing their exceptional academic and athletic accomplishments. Linebacker Brycen Edwards, kicker Nick Garrido, and defensive lineman Dillon Sheehan achieved this honor for the 2025 season, meeting the rigorous criteria of maintaining a 3.2 GPA and being significant contributors on the field. Edwards, who was also a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy and a member of the Academic All-Patriot League team, led the team in tackles last season with 83.
The Lehigh men's golf team concluded the Irish Creek Intercollegiate with a tie for eighth place, finishing the tournament with a total score of 884. Senior Jake Roth led the Mountain Hawks, tying for 19th overall with a score of 217, highlighted by a second-round 68, the team's best performance of the tournament. First-year Ryan Cronin and senior Will Caronchi both tied for 27th with scores of 220, while junior Matthew Quinn and senior Aiden LeBlanc rounded out the team’s efforts in the tournament, with LeBlanc shooting an even-par 71 in his final round as an individual competitor.
In swimming and diving, four Lehigh athletes have been recognized as College Sports Communicators Academic All-District. Seniors Mairin Ludwig and Caitlin Deitch, along with juniors Clara Moschella and Kate Whitaker, earned this distinction for their combined excellence in academics and athletics. Deitch, who recently completed her undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, was also named to the Patriot League All-Academic team earlier this year. Ludwig has maintained a perfect academic record throughout her studies in international relations, further solidifying the program's commitment to academic excellence alongside athletic performance.
