The University of Pennsylvania men's golf team finished fifth out of 12 teams at the Princeton Invitational, concluding the two-day event with a team score of 22-over-par 874. On the final day, the Quakers shot an even-par 284, their best round of the tournament, which tied for third among all teams. Freshman Kayden Wang led the Quakers, finishing tied for 18th with a total score of 217, alongside teammate Hayden Adams, who also shot 217. Other notable performances included Arjun Caprihan, who carded a 69 on Sunday to finish tied for 32nd at 222, and Ryan Chang, who ended at 225. The team’s next challenge will be the Ivy League Championship in two weeks.
The University of Pennsylvania women's golf team also had a strong showing, finishing second at the Rutgers Invitational. Freshman Mi Li earned co-medalist honors, tying for first place with Seton Hall's Marta Aguilar after both players finished at 6-over-par 219. Li's final round of 73 helped solidify her lead in par-4 scoring and pars throughout the tournament. The Quakers shot a total of 908, 12 strokes behind host Rutgers, who claimed the title. Junior Maggie Ni contributed a solid performance, finishing tied for eighth at 228. The women's team will look to build on this momentum as they prepare for the Ivy League Championship in two weeks.
