Colgate University’s football program celebrates a significant academic achievement as ten student-athletes are named to the 2026 National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society. This honor recognizes those who have maintained a high level of academic performance throughout their college careers, highlighting the Raiders' commitment to excellence both on and off the field. The honorees exemplify the balance of rigorous academics and competitive athletics that Colgate champions.
In women's lacrosse, the Raiders faced a challenging matchup against Loyola Maryland on April 11, ultimately falling 18-11 at Ridley Athletic Complex. Despite a spirited effort that saw Colgate narrow the deficit to a single goal at the start of the second half, they could not secure the comeback. The team will look to regroup and focus on their next contest as they continue their season.
The Colgate track and field teams also competed over the weekend at the Big Red Invitational in Ithaca, New York. The event provided valuable experience and competition for the Raiders as they prepare for the upcoming championship season. The athletes showcased their talents across various events, contributing to the team's development and cohesion. As the track season progresses, the Raiders will aim to build on their performances and achieve personal bests in future meets.
