ITHACA – The No. 23 Princeton Women's Basketball Team defeated the Harvard Crimson, 63-53, at Newman Arena to collect the program's sixth Ivy League Tournament Championship.

After falling behind 5-4 in the early going, the Tigers ripped off 11 consecutive points before settling with a 15-7 lead after 10 minutes.

The Tigers took a 33-24 advantage into halftime.

Harvard remained within striking distance, but eight straight points put Princeton back up 12, 41-29, as the clock read 3:53 in the third stanza. The Crimson closed the gap to six, 43-37, as the final 10 minutes began.

With the win, the Tigers clinched a berth in the NCAA Tournament for the 13th time in program history and seventh straight time dating back to 2018. All of the program's NCAA bids have been from 2010 on.

The NCAA Selection Show will be on Sunday (Mar. 15) at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
