Men’s Swimming & Diving Closes Out Competition at NCAA Championships

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Yale men's swimming and diving team wrapped up an impressive showing at the NCAA Championships on Saturday at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Bulldogs put together four strong days in the pool, highlighted by three Honorable Mention All-American performances.

Noah Millard accounted for two of those in the 1650 and 500 freestyle, while

Nick Finch added another in the 100 butterfly.

The team also turned in several standout performances on the national stage, breaking two school records and an Ivy League record. The 200 medley relay team of

Jake Wang,

Charlie Egeland, Finch, and

Deniel Nankov set a new program record with a time of 1:23.16, finishing just one place shy of All-American status. Finch also broke both the school and Ivy League records in the 100 butterfly with a time of 44.19.

Millard concluded an outstanding Bulldog career as a four-time All-American, highlighted by six individual Ivy League titles and two relay champion finishes. He also earned five individual Ivy runner-up finishes and six in relay events. A native of Melbourne, Australia, he was named co-winner of the Phil Moriarty High Point Swimmer of the Meet in 2023 and, this season, received the Harold S. Ulen Career High Point Swimmer Award, finishing his Ivy League career with 352 points.
