Tigers Win Six Events on Day One of Larry Ellis

PRINCETON, N.J. – Winning six events, Princeton men's track and field team kicked off the weekend with day one of the Larry Ellis Invitational on Friday.

Tigers Win Six Events on Day One of Larry Ellis

PRINCETON, N.J. – Winning six events, Princeton men's track and field team kicked off the weekend with day one of the Larry Ellis Invitational on Friday.

Brian Boler continued a string of dominant performances in the steeplechase, today winning the event with a time of 8:40.95. The Tigers took a 1-2-3-4 finish with Sebastian Martinez clocking in at 8:47.72, Franco Parra Ramon at 8:49.30, and Marcelo Parra Ramon at 8:51.62.

Myles Hogan jumped up to fourth in the record book in the 1500m, running 3:38.35 for second with an insane final lap that saw him improve to the front of the pack. The time puts him in the top-10 in the NCAA East.

Connor McCormick won the 800m, running a blazing 1:47.91 to jump up to fifth all-time in the program record book.

Avery Keith and Jack Gregorski finished first and second in the 10k, clocking in at 29:00.65 and 29:09.06, respectively.

Joey Gant and Jackson Clarke also took the top two spots in the 200m, running 20.60 and 20.70. Charlie Sexton also set a PR in the event, joining the program leaderboard at 7th with a time of 20.93.

Joey Goodenow won the discus with a throw of 52.05/170-9.

Greg Foster picked up another win in the long jump as he continues an undefeated season, clearing 7.81m/25-7.5.

Asher Robbins took second in the hammer, throwing 66.47m/218-1 on his penultimate attempt.

The Tigers will close out the regular season tomorrow with day two of Larry Ellis, before turning their attention to Ivy Heps in just two weeks.
