Foster Breaks Own Ivy Record at TCNJ Rick McCorkle

EWING, N.J. – Greg Foster broke his own Ivy League record in the long jump at the TCNJ Rick McCorkle Invitational on Friday. In addition to Foster's record, the Tigers picked up five other event wins on the day.

Foster Breaks Own Ivy Record at TCNJ Rick McCorkle

EWING, N.J. – Greg Foster broke his own Ivy League record in the long jump at the TCNJ Rick McCorkle Invitational on Friday. In addition to Foster's record, the Tigers picked up five other event wins on the day.

Just two weeks after setting the league record with a jump of 7.99m at Spec Towns, Foster cleared 8.01m / 26-03.50 in Ewing to raise the bar higher and set a new NCAA #6.

In addition to winning the long jump, Foster also won the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.90.

Charlie Sexton won the 200m, clocking in at 21.25. Sexton also won the 100m, running 10.53. John Catherman joined him in the top-three with a time of 10.90 for bronze. Asa Marsh also finished in fifth in the 200m, clocking in at 22.12.

Isa Hitchens and Gianluca Bianchi went one-and-two in the 400m, clocking in at 48.26 and 49.49, respectively.

Weston Brown won the 1500m with a new personal best time of 3:51.28. Thomas Arender was behind him, setting his own PR with a time of 3:58.63 for sixth.

Thomas Arender set a new personal best in the 800m, running 1:55.86 for seventh.

The Tigers will close out competition at the Penn Relays tomorrow, before hosting the Larry Ellis Invitational next weekend on their home track in Weaver Stadium.
