Softball Heads to Providence for Winner-Take-All Series Against Brown

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania softball team will make their final regular season road trip this weekend, heading to Providence for a winner-take-all Ivy series.

• The Bears enter this series with a record of 17-22. They have wins over Colorado State, Stonehill, Columbia, Rhode Island, Yale, Harvard, Dartmouth, and Cornell among others.

• The Bears are led at the plate by Cameron Zytkewicz Ray, who is hitting .346 with eight doubles and 13 RBI. Elli Thompson leads the team in OPS with a .966.

• Macy Borowski poses a special threat to the Quakers, as she is second on the team in batting average with a .321 while also leading the team in ERA with a 3.36 and is fourth in the Ivy League in batting average allowed (.254).
