Men's Track and Field Opens Outdoor Season at High Point’s Bob Davidson Challenge

HIGH POINT, N.C. - The Brown men's track and field program sent five distance runners to the Bob Davidson Challenge on Saturday, hosted by High Point University. The meet served as the team's opener for the outdoor season.

HIGH POINT, N.C. - The Brown men's track and field program sent five distance runners to the Bob Davidson Challenge on Saturday, hosted by High Point University. The meet served as the team's opener for the outdoor season.

Freshman Duncan Frisbie-Smith and junior Matthew Doherty competed in the 800m. Out of 27 runners, Frisbie-Smith finished 10th with a time of 1:54.35 and Doherty placed 16th with a time of 1:54.72.

Freshmen Benjy Street, Dermot Maloney, and junior Matt Wing competed in the 1500m. Out of 29 runners, Street placed 13th with a time of 3:57.12, Maloney placed 17th with a time of 4:01.60, and Wing finished 19th with a time of 4:04.38.

The Bears will return to action March 26-28 for the Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State University.
