  • The Black Knights jumped out to an early 3-0 lead with goals by junior Ryan Remaly, senior Lily Valentini of the free position and junior Geneva Milch Cesoni off a pass inside from Remaly. The Greyhounds responded with a pair of goals after the Black Knights made it 4-0 off a roll dodge to a jump shot from Valentini to make it 4-2 with nine minutes left in the first quarter. Neither team was able to find the back of the net for the rest of the quarter.

  • Coming out of the first quarter, Loyola struck first but Army responded off a natural hat-trick from senior Allison Reilly to make it 7-3. Junior Sarah Wood and Remaly both added a goal each to make it 9-3 halfway thru the second quarter. The Greyhounds responded off the free position goal to make it 9-4. Reilly added another for her fourth of the first half, tying a program record for the most in a first half of a Patriot League tournament game, to make it 10-4. Loyola added another before the end of the first half to make it 10-5.

  • Starting the second half, Loyola started strong scoring the first four goals to make it 10-9. Senior Brigid Duffy scored her first of the day off a pass from Cesoni with an underhand score to make is 11-9 before the end of the third quarter.

  • Going into the final frame, Loyola started with the ball, but the Black Knights and senior Lindsey Serafine stood tall to get the stop. At 13:19, Reilly scored her fifth of the day from a wide shot that she quickly dodged around the crease to earn a new program postseason goals record. Quickly, Reilly added another to make 13-9 and tie the program postseason record with her seventh point of the day. Loyola would add two more to make it 13-11 and had an opportunity to make it a one goal game on a wide-open look that was stopped low by Serafine in the closing minute.

The Black Knights will advance to the Patriot League Championship game for the second time in program history and will meet Navy on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the Patriot League Tournament for the second consecutive season.
