Jongejeugd Wins Two As Tigers Compete at Rick McCorkle

EWING, N.J. – The Princeton women's track and field team had a solid showing at the Rick McCorkle Invitational, hosted by TCNJ on Friday.

Julia Jongejeugd picked up two event wins on the day, winning the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.91 and winning the long jump with a mark of 5.82m / 19-01.25.

Three Tigers set new personal bests in the 1500m, with Daphne Banino leading with a second-place finish and PR of 4:27.97.

Finia Kretschman took third at 4:31.00, while Margaret Thompson set a new PR of 4:32.73 for fourth place.

Fleur-Todd Warmoth took ninth (4:41.27), rounding out the Tigers in the top-10, while Abigail Kolbe set a new personal best with a time of 4:45.14 for 11th.

Ava John took fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.58m / 5-02.25. She also took third in the 100 hurdles, clocking in at 14.53.

Up Next

The Tigers will close out competition at the Penn Relays tomorrow, before hosting the Larry Ellis Invitational next weekend on their home track in Weaver Stadium.
