Wrestling Set for EIWA Championships

WASHINGTON, D.C.– Army West Point wrestling opens postseason action Friday for the 2026 EIWA Championships at American University's Bender Arena.

With both tournament seeds and EIWA allocations released, each of Army's 10 competitors knows exactly where they need to stand by end of Saturday to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
Army is sending the following wrestlers to the EIWA Championships at each weight class. Each respective wrestler's seed is denoted, as well as the number of EIWA allocations for that weight class.

Gunner Filipowiczis trying to become a three-time qualifier in his junior season.
Brady Colberteach seek a second career trip to NCAAs. Any other qualifiers for Army in 2026 would be their first trip to the NCAA Championships.

Troy Nickersonled Army to a 5-5 dual record during the 2025-26 regular season, going 4-1 in EIWA duals including a 19-18 win at Navy. Army's win in Annapolis was its third in a row in the Star Dual, the second straight road win at Navy and the program's eighth over the past 12 years over its academy rival.

Army's qualifying wrestlers will compete at the 2026 NCAA Wrestling Championships at Cleveland, Ohio's Rocket Arena March 19-21.
