#25 Middlebury Lands Four On CSC Academic All-District Squad

The Middlebury women's swimming and diving team saw four student-athletes secure College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District praise. The Panther honorees include Hannah Baumgartner, Emma Hall, Lauren Jolley and Anna McGrew.

The #25 Middlebury women's swimming and diving team saw four student-athletes secure College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District praise. The Panther honorees include

HONOREE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Baumgartner

  • Baumgartner, a second-time honoree, is currently completing thesis projects to cap her studies in both economics and sociology.

  • The senior garnered her initial College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) All-American laurel at the 2026 NCAA Championships, contributing to the 15th-place finish in the 800-yard freestyle relay.

  • Baumgartner collected five individual victories across the freestyle events during the 2026 slate.

  • The Panther is a college scholar and a three-time NESCAC All-Academic selection.

  • Hall

  • Hall secures CSC Academic All-District honors for the second straight season.

  • The neuroscience major amassed seven individual wins across the breaststroke events after qualifying for the national invite in the 200 and 400 medley relays a season ago.

  • Hall is a research fellow in the neuroscience department at Middlebury and serves as a teacher's assistant for Ecology, Evolution and Behavioral Neuroscience courses.

  • Hall has been selected to the conference all-academic list in three consecutive years and is a college scholar.

  • Jolley

  • Earning her initial CSC academic honor is Jolley.

  • The molecular biology and biochemistry major swam the fastest leg of the squads second-team All-American effort in the 800 free relay, touching the wall in 1:53.68 during her 200-yard split.

  • She volunteers with Special Olympics while joining her teammates in providing swimming lessons to elementary school students.

  • The Panther is a college scholar and a NESCAC All-Academic selection.

  • McGrew

  • The four-time All-American collects her first placement on the academic all-district list.

  • An economics major, McGrew posted 10 individual dual-meet triumphs, resetting the 50 free school record on the league stage before becoming the first swimmer in team history to record a sub-50-second clocking in the 100 consolation final (49.84 seconds). She also contributed to the team's 800 free relay grouping.

  • She became Middlebury's first league champion in the 50 free since 2020, resetting the program and meet record with a time of 22.73 seconds.

  • The Panther is a member of Middlebury Women on Wall Street and the Student Investment Committee.

  • She spent her first summer in Vermont working as a Student Consultant and Business Strategy Intern for Middlebury Business Services.

  • She earned her first conference academic laurel in 2026 and is a college scholar.

The College Sports Communicators Academic All-America squad will be announced on Tuesday, April 28.
