No. 18 Men’s Swimming & Diving Wrap Up Day 3 Of NCAA Competition

ATLANTA, G.A. – No. 18 Men's Swimming & Diving continued to break more records on the third day of NCAA competition.

Santiago Gutierrez opened things up for the Tigers in Heat 1 of the 500 yard freestyle prelims. Gutierrez placed fifth in the heat with a time of 4:21.77, while finishing 43rd nationally.

Mitchell Schott followed, placing first in Heat 2, with a time of 4:14.17, setting a new program record. This time sets Schott at 20th in the nation.

Patrick Dinu swam in Heat 4 of the 40 yard freestyle prelims, finishing fifth in 19.24, placing Dinu at 29th in the nation.

Aidan Wang and Luca Fassi competed in the 3 meter diving for the Tigers. Wang placed 24th nationally scoring 339.85 while Fassi finished 34th scoring 323.05.

Competition continues tomorrow with prelims beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by finals at 6:00 PM.
