Eight women's track and field athletes earn 2026 all-region indoor honors

Eight Hamilton College women's track and field athletes were recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Wednesday, March 11 when the organization announced its 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field All-Region honorees.

Eight Hamilton College women's track and field athletes were recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Wednesday, March 11 when the organization announced its 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field All-Region honorees.

The top eight individuals and the members of the top eight relays from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists earned all-region distinction. Hamilton's all-region honorees are listed below.

Ruby Austin '29 (Amherst, Mass./Amherst Regional HS) – 4x400-meter relay, distance medley relay

Nora Burroughs '29 (Aurora, N.Y./Auburn HS) – distance medley relay

Emma Chrismer '28 (Philadelphia, Pa./Central HS) – distance medley relay

Mackenzie Loudon '29 (Southwick, Mass./Southwick Regional School) – triple jump

Mia O'Neill '28 (Needham, Mass./Needham HS) – 4x400-meter relay

Emily Pogozelski '26 (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City HS) – distance medley relay

Hannah Turner '26 (Middlebury, Vt./Middlebury Union HS) – 4x400-meter relay

Olivia Waruch '28 (Accord, N.Y./Rondout Valley HS) – 4x400-meter relay

The Continentals' distance medley relay posted the third-fastest time in the Niagara Region of 12:09.29 and took third place at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Indoor Championships at The Armory in New York City on March 6.

Hamilton's 4x400-meter relay registered the sixth-fastest performance in the Niagara Region and set a team record with a time of 3:59.56 on the same day at the AARTFC championships.

Loudon had the fourth-best mark in the triple jump in the Niagara Region at 11.44 meters (37 feet, 6.5 inches). She accomplished the feat at Cornell University's Marc Deneault Invitational on Feb. 21.

The all-region indoor honor was the first for everyone except Pogozelski, who made it for the distance medley relay in 2025.
