Browne Named an All-NESCAC First Team Selection
Waterville, Maine - Colby Browne of the Colby Men's Ice Hockey team has concluded his sophomore season earning a spot on the 2026 All-Conference First Team. He is one of eight underclassman to be placed on an All-NESCAC team this year.

Colby Browne of the Colby Men's Ice Hockey team has concluded his sophomore season earning a spot on the 2026 All-Conference First Team. He is one of eight underclassman to be placed on an All-NESCAC team this year.
After transferring to Colby to being the 2025-26 academic year, the Evergreen, Colorado native has made a huge impact in just his first season with the team. This year Browne led the conference in goals scored with 18 on the season in 24 games played (.75 goals per game average). Of those 18 goals, four were game winners scored against Suffolk, Southern Maine and NESCAC foes Tufts and Wesleyan. He also racked up 10 assists this season for a total of 28 points, tied for the third most in the NESCAC. There were only five games in 2025-26 that Browne did not record a point. Defensively, he had 11 blocked shots on the season.
