Spotts, Sanders, and Gross Earn All-UAA Selections

CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago men's soccer team placed three individuals on the 2026 All-Association Team, as released by the University Athletic Association on Tuesday morning.

CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago men's soccer team placed three individuals on the 2026 All-Association Team, as released by the University Athletic Association on Tuesday morning.

Annabelle Spotts was the lone 1st-Team All-UAA selection for the Maroons this season after the sophomore led the team with 11.8 points per game and added 5.8 rebounds per game. The Newport Beach, California native shot 41.1% from the field and 36.6% from beyond the three-point arc. Spotts is the first UChicago sophomore to earn 1st-Team All-UAA honors since Mia Farrell in 2017-18.

Chris Sanders earned 2nd-Team All-UAA honors after scoring in double figures with 10.0 points per game on 41.2% shooting from the floor. The Bloomfield Hills, Michigan native also added 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game for the Maroons.

Kate Gross rounded out the All-UAA selections for the Maroons as the senior earned Honorable Mention honors. Gross averaged 6.8 points per game and added a team-high 2.4 assists on the year. In conference play, Gross ranked third on the team with 7.2 points per game.

The University of Chicago women's basketball team earned the #21 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and opens their postseason run on Friday as the Maroons travel to UW-Whitewater for the Regional rounds of the NCAA Tournament. UChicago will take on (RV) Gustavus Adolphus at 4:45 PM CT on Friday with the winner advancing to the Regional Finals on Saturday at 7:15 PM CT.
