Fellows Takes Ivy League Player of the Week Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. — Columbia baseball's Cole Fellows has been named Ivy League Co-Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. He shared the honor with Yale's Kaiden Dossa.

Fellows recorded multiple hits in all four games, helping the Lions go unbeaten

PRINCETON, N.J. — Columbia baseball's Cole Fellows has been named Ivy League Co-Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. He shared the honor with Yale's Kaiden Dossa.

Fellows delivered a dominant stretch at the plate, going 10-for-16 (.625) with six doubles, a home run and four RBI as the Lions posted a 3-0-1 record on the week. He recorded four multi-hit performances and also drew three walks.

The senior opened the week with a 2-for-4 showing against Stony Brook, tallying a pair of doubles and driving in two runs in the victory.

Fellows followed with a perfect 4-for-4 effort in Columbia's 6-4 win over Yale in the series opener, blasting a solo home run in the victory. In game two, Fellows played a key role in the Lions' comeback from a seven-run deficit, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI in a 9-8 triumph.

He capped the week with another multi-hit performance in the series finale, finishing 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI.

Fellows is the third Lion to earn Ivy League Player of the Week honors this season, joining Owen Estabrook (March 2) and Jack Kail (April 13).
