Three Softball Student-Athletes Earn All-Ivy Recognition

HANOVER, N.H. – Three Dartmouth softball student-athletes were given All-Ivy recognition, as announced by the league on Wednesday morning.

Olivia Schramm was named Second Team All-Ivy, while Faby Serna was given an All-Ivy Honorable Mention and Lauren Ben-Ezra was named Academic All-Ivy.

Schramm earns All-Ivy recognition for the first time in her career following an outstanding junior season. She played 32 games, recording 18 runs and 35 hits while leading the team in slugging percentage (.634), RBIs (31), doubles (9), home runs (5) and total bases (64). Additionally, she ranked ninth in the Ivy League in slugging percentage and eighth in runs batted in.

Serna was given an honorable mention for her junior season, where she played 30 games, recording 24 runs and 41 hits. She led the team in batting average (.387) and hits, while ranking second in home runs (3), total bases (60), slugging percentage (.556), RBIs (23) and doubles (8). Last season, she was named Second Team All-Ivy.

Ben-Ezra earned Academic All-Ivy for her excellence on the field and in the classroom during her senior season. The outfielder played in 28 games with 20 runs, 28 hits, four doubles, four triples and her first career home run. Ben-Ezra leads the team in stolen bases (5) and triples, while ranking third in hits, total bases (41) and batting average (.323).
