HANOVER, N.H. - Princeton split their doubleheader against Dartmouth to start off their series on Saturday.
Princeton 6, Dartmouth 1
The Tigers put themselves up on the board late, taking a three run lead in the fifth inning. Isaac Lamson contributed with an RBI double while the Tigers earned one extra run on a throwing error following a bunt by Grant Werdesheim.
Tommy Googins extended the lead to 4-0 in the sixth inning with an RBI.
Bennett Crerar reached on a fielder's choice later in the eighth inning, allowing two of the Tigers to cross home, making it 5-0.
Tomas Cernius capped off scoring for the Tigers with an RBI in the ninth inning, bringing home a run and making it 6-0.
Dartmouth was held scoreless until the ninth where they put up one run to make it a 6-1 final game.
Liam Kinneen started on the mound for Princeton. In his eight inning outing, Kinneen allowed six hits and struck out four while keeping Dartmouth scoreless.
Ryan Penney closed out the game in the ninth inning, allowing two hits and one run while striking out two.

Cernius opened up scoring in this ball game for Princeton, taking a 1-0 lead with an RBI in the third inning.
Dartmouth tied the game and took the 2-1 lead later in the third.
The Big Green continued to put up six more runs in the fifth inning, taking a 8-1 lead.
Isaac Lamson hit an RBI double in the seventh inning to chip away at the deficit for the Tigers, making it 8-2.
Elliott Eaton got the start for the Tigers. In four innings pitched, Eaton allowed two hits, six runs and struck out four batters.
The Tigers wrap up the series tomorrow with a 12 p.m. start.
