No. 15 Ephs compile six All-Conference efforts and Ulysses Junker named Most Outstanding Rookie

HADLEY, Mass. - First-year Ulysses Junker of the No. 15-ranked Williams College men's outdoor track & field team was named NESCAC Most Outstanding Rookie, as the Ephs compiled six All-Conference efforts during the 2026 NESCAC Championship on April 25-26 at Lee Track in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

HADLEY, Mass. - First-year

Ulysses Junker of the No. 15-ranked Williams College men's outdoor track & field team was named NESCAC Most Outstanding Rookie, as the Ephs compiled six All-Conference efforts during the 2026 NESCAC Championship on April 25-26 at Lee Track in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

In order to receive All-Conference recognition, student-athletes or relay teams must finish in the top three in their respective events. Junker finished first overall, earned All-Conference honors and clocked a NESCAC meet record of 7.41 meters during the long jump.

Sophomore

Emil Nelson (10,000 meters, 30:25.93) and senior

Zachary Liu-Walter (800 meters, 1:50.09) placed first overall in their respective events with personal-best times during the conference championship.

Juniors

Vincent VanMaaren (pole vault, 4.75 meters) and

Henry Alexander (3,000-meter steeplechase, 9:04.46) recorded first-place honors in their respective events. Sophomore

Keiyu Mamiya earned runner-up recognition during the 1,500 meters, crossing the finish line in a time of 3:50.14.
