HANOVER, N.H. – J'Voughnn Blake was named Ivy League co-athlete of the week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.
The senior middle-distance runner was given the distinction for the first time in his career following a fantastic performance at the Jay Carisella Invitational, where he won the 800m and put himself at second all-time in program history with a 1:47.70 finish. Additionally, he finished second in the 4x400m with a time of 3:29.03.
This outdoor season, Blake finished first in the 800m at the UConn Dog Fight and second in the event at the South Florida Invite. Last season, Blake qualified for the NCAA Division I East First Round in the 800m, finishing 39th in the region with a 1:49.73 mark.
