Two Lions Named CSA All-Americans
NEW YORK – Two members of the Columbia squash programs have been named 2025-26 All-Americans by the College Squash Association (CSA). On the men's side, sophomore Yusef Sheik earned second-team honors, while on the women's side, senior Nourin Khalifa also garnered second-team accolades.

Yusef Sheikh earns second team on the men’s side, Nourin Khalifa earns second team on the women’s side
NEW YORK – Two members of the Columbia squash programs have been named 2025-26 All-Americans by the College Squash Association (CSA). On the men's side, sophomore Yusef Sheik earned second-team honors, while on the women's side, senior Nourin Khalifa also garnered second-team accolades.
Sheikh, a native of London, England, is coming off a brilliant sophomore campaign that saw him finish the year earning First Team All-Ivy League honors. Competing primarily at the No. 1 position, the sophomore consistently faced the conference's top competitors and posted a 9–4 overall record, including a 4–2 mark in Ivy League play. Sheikh also made an immediate impact on the national stage, advancing to the Round of 32 in his first appearance at the CSA Individual National Championships.
He became the first All-American on the men's side since James Wyatt earned second-team honors in 2020.
Khalifa, a senior from Alexandria, Egypt, finished her career taking home Second Team All-American honors. She became the sixth player in program history to earn All-American honors.
The two-time All-Ivy League honoree closed out her career with a 4-1 win at the No. 1 spot, helping the Lions sweep Williams College 9-0 in the championship match of the Kurtz Cup. The Lions' captain went 5-5 on the year.
