CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Gio Colasante was named the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Week, the College Baseball Foundation announced today.

Colasante went 6-for-13 in Harvard's weekend road sweep of Princeton, hitting .462 across the three-game series. The senior captain opened the weekend with two hits in a 10-3 win over the Tigers before following up his game one performance by launching two home runs, adding a double, and driving in four runs on Saturday. He capped the series on Sunday by throwing four innings, allowing just one run on one hit while recording two strikeouts, and also added two hits and an RBI at the plate.

Colasante is the first player from the Ivy League to earn the honor this season.
