Thanana Kotchasanmanee sits T4 after 36 holes at the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional with one more round to play on May 13 Finley Golf Course.
The 2026 Ivy League Player of the Year and Ivy League Rookie of the Year, Kotchasanmanee is making the most of her first NCAA Regional appearance. Competing as an individual, she is T4th among the 64 players who have played both rounds.
Kotchasanmanee has shot 138 over the first two rounds, posting a two-day score of -2. After opening with a 66 (-4), she followed with a 72 (+2) in the second round. Kotchasanmanee is one of four players currently T4 and six shots off the lead currently held by Cindy Hsu of Texas who is -8 at 132.
At stake for Kotchasanmanee is earning the lone individual qualification to the NCAA Championship. Kotchasanmanee currently is in position to secure that spot which goes to the highest-finishing player not among the five teams who qualify through to the final site. Texas, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, N.C. State and Mississippi State are the current top-five teams.
