Lilly Caldwell, from the University of Rochester women's tennis team have received Academic All-District ® honors from the College Sports Communicators for the 2025-26 season, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.

The 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and must have competed in at least 75 percent of an institution's days of competitions.

For her play on the court this season, Toor was one of three 'Jackets to secure All-Association honors from the UAA, being named Honorable Mention at first doubles. Overall in 2025-26, the senior posted a win-loss record of 8-13 in singles and 12-10 in doubles. The 12 wins in doubles led the Yellowjackets, while the eight singles wins were tied for second most on the squad. Toor was a double-winner eight times this season and also reached the quarterfinals of the William Smith Mary Hosking Invitational in doubles play.

Academically, the senior will earn her degree from the University in Brain and Cognitive Sciences and Anthropology. She is a 3-time UAA All-Academic honoree and earned ITA Scholar Athlete accolades twice so far in her career. Toor also was named to the CSC Academic All-District team in 2024-25. She is a member of the Meliora Scholars and has received multiple scholarships from the University. Toor has been active in research work throughout her time, working with Dr. Fadok in the Humanities Center and with Dr. Thomas Gibson as an Independent Study project. Following graduation, she will be attending the University of Oxford, studying for her Masters degree in Social Anthropology.

Caldwell competed for URochester in all 20 matches in either singles or doubles play. The sophomore finished the season with a 3-13 record in singles play and 5-18 mark in doubles. Caldwell played as high as first singles and first doubles for the Yellowjackets, and represented the team in both singles and doubles play at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships in the fall. She was a double-winner once on the season, coming against Nazareth in the season-opener on February 6.

In the classroom, Caldwell is studying towards a degree in Biological Sciences at the University. She received her first UAA All-Academic honor this spring. During her time at URochester, she has worked as a Research Assistant in the Social Stress Lab and Xia Lab at the UR Medical Center. Her volunteer efforts include teaching foundational tennis skills to autistic individuals through ACEing Autism.

Academic All-District selections will be evaluated by a sub-committee and advanced to the national, All-America ballot, to be voted on by CSC members within their respective divisions.

The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's and women's tennis honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
