Track and Field Sends Four Female Runners to New England Championships
EASTON, Mass. - Brown track and field had four female distance runners compete at the New England Championships on Saturday at Stonehill College. It marks the final tune-up ahead of next weekend's Ivy League Outdoor Heps. The four runners competing this weekend were senior Juli Gonzalez, senior Sarah Paul, sophomore Bria Benigni, and freshman Megan Jasinski.

EASTON, Mass. - Brown track and field had four female distance runners compete at the New England Championships on Saturday at Stonehill College. It marks the final tune-up ahead of next weekend's Ivy League Outdoor Heps. The four runners competing this weekend were senior Juli Gonzalez, senior Sarah Paul, sophomore Bria Benigni, and freshman Megan Jasinski.
Gonzalez led the Bears in the 800m by finishing sixth out of 29 runners in 2:15.50. Benigni finished ninth with a time of 2:14.95 and Jasinski finished 10th with a time of 2:16.01. Paul competed in the 1500m and finished ninth with a time of 4:50.83.
The Bears now turn their attention to the Ivy League Outdoor Heps, hosted by Princeton, next Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17.
