PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania squash program has announced the hiring of Assistant Coach Graeme Williams for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

Williams comes to University City after spending last season with the Princeton women's squash team as an assistant coach.

He helped lead the Tigers to an Ivy League tournament title and the No. 1 ranking in the College Squash Association (CSA) team rankings last season.

Williams was also the head professional at the Philadelphia Cricket Club after decades of coaching and playing experience.

Some stops Williams has made along his coaching journey include stints at multiple Pan American Games, Commonwealth Games and World Team Championships with national federations in the United States, Canada and England.

"Gilly and I are thrilled to announce the addition of Graeme Williams to our staff. He brings a wealth of experience at the junior and senior level. He developed top juniors at the Philadelphia Cricket Club, led the Canadian National Team and coached world #4 Olivia Weaver. Graeme is a student of the game, loves the grind and is fun to be around. Our student athletes will get better under his tutelage," said Head Coach of Penn women's squash

Jack Wyant.

"I am honoured and proud to join the University of Pennsylvania's prestigious squash program as an Assistant Coach. I have witnessed the hunger and desire for improvement since arriving in Philadelphia in 2019. I am excited to work alongside Jack and Gilly as well as support the exceptionally talented men and women for the upcoming season. I can't wait to meet the players and get to work on helping prepare them for the 2026-27 season," said Williams.
