SPARKS, Md - USA Lacrosse Magazine announced its NCAA Division I men's All-Americans on Thursday afternoon, recognizing the top individual performers from the 2026 season.

Senior Richard Checo was named an Honorable Mention All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine. This marks his third career postseason honor from the organization. In 2024, Checo was named a Third Team All-American, and he now becomes a back-to-back USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American selection.

Checo ranks second in the nation in caused turnovers with 38 on the season and fourth nationally in caused turnovers per game at 2.38, leading the Patriot League in both categories. Earlier this season, Checo became Division I's all-time leader in caused turnovers, recording his 161st on Feb. 21. He concludes his career with 185 caused turnovers.

Checo recorded two five-caused-turnover performances this season. In a Feb. 10 win at Iona, he tallied five caused turnovers and tied his season high with six ground balls. In a pivotal 19-7 victory over Navy that helped position Lehigh for postseason play, Checo forced five turnovers and added three ground balls.

The Mountain Hawks finished the season 8-8 overall and 4-4 in Patriot League play, defeating Boston University in the Patriot League quarterfinals before falling to Army in West Point in the Patriot League semifinals.
