SPARKS, Md. - Marcus Wertheim of the Brown men's lacrosse team has been named an Honorable Mention All-American by USA Lacrosse, the organization announced on Thursday afternoon.

SPARKS, Md. - Marcus Wertheim of the Brown men's lacrosse team has been named an Honorable Mention All-American by USA Lacrosse, the organization announced on Thursday afternoon.

Wertheim collects his first All-American honor after being named First Team All-Ivy last week. The St. James, N.Y. native led the Bears in assists and points (46) in 2026, he recorded at least one point in all 13 games this season and recorded multiple points in 12 outings. Overall, Wertheim tallied career-highs in goals, assists, points, appearances, and shots on goal this season.

Wertheim recorded a career-high eight points and his 100th career point against Princeton (Apr. 28). He was also selected 26th overall by the California Redwoods in the 2026 PLL College Draft. Wertheim and the Redwoods will begin the 2026 PLL season on Friday, May 8 against the Utah Archers at 8 p.m.
