PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's lacrosse team (6-7, 1-5 Ivy) closed the regular season with a 14-13 loss in a back-and-forth battle against No. 9 Yale (9-4, 4-2 Ivy) on Saturday afternoon at Stevenson-Pincince Field.

"Hats off to Yale as they took advantage of any mistake we made throughout the game," Rothman Head Coaching Chair for Men's Lacrosse Jon Torpey said. "I know our team really wanted to send these seniors out on top but unfortunately we fell short. To respond the way they did today after a tough double overtime loss that eliminated them from the Ivy League Tournament last week is beyond admirable. This team fought all year and everyone associated with our program past and present should be proud of their effort."
