PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's hockey's Sam Broz was named ECAC Forward of the Week after her performance in the Bears' Opening Round win over Dartmouth, the league announced Tuesday (Feb. 24).

**PROVIDENCE, R.I. –**Brown women's hockey's
Sam Brozwas named ECAC Forward of the Week after her performance in the Bears' Opening Round win over Dartmouth, the league announced Tuesday (Feb. 24).
Broz was one of three Bears to finish the game with three points, collecting two goals and adding an assist. The junior won nine faceoffs and added two blocked shots in Brown's 7-2 victory.
Broz's first goal of the game came 40 seconds after Dartmouth had pulled within one at 3-2 halfway through the second period. She added her second goal midway through the third to make it 6-2.
Broz, who earned the honor for the first time in her career, is the third Bear to be named ECAC Forward of the Week, joining
Jade Iginla(twice).
